A Ohio housewife named Allison (Deborah Twiss) has recently left her hometown. Her husband is an abusive pig, so she runs off to New York City
where he wont be able to find her and where she can start a new life. Scared and feeling alone, she walks the streets trying to find a cheap hotel
to stay for the night. Walking down a poorly lit street, she is followed by two men who attack her and demand money. Once they steal her purse
they realize she is new to the city and one of the muggers decides to give her a warm welcome. He starts to rip open her blouse and warns her to
"Shut the hell up or he will bite off your nipples." From a distance a white van drives past and hears Allison's screams for help. The van comes to a
stop and a gang in masks jumps out of the van and grabs one of the rapists. They bash him, shoot him when he tries to run and then begin to
castrate him. Allison is made to shoot the other rapist by the masked gang of female vigilantes. Allison is then told to get into the van where they
soon ask her what her name is. She lies and tells them her name is Jennifer. Jesse, a member of the gang, offers to help out Jennifer by giving her
a place to stay, clean clothes and a job at the vigilante gang's local strip club as a waitress. Jennifer becomes part of the vigilante gang and begins
to seek revenge on men who abuse, rape and kill women. The only way out of the gang is in a bodybag.
A Gun For Jennifer is another exploitation film I love to death. The film's entertainment level would have to be in the middle between Ms. 45 and
I Spit On Your Grave for rape-revenge films. Deborah Twiss, who plays Allison/Jennifer, is also the writer and producer of this film. A Gun For
Jennifer kinda gives you a deep look into what exactly women have to put up with from sleazy men in bars, on the streets and in the work place.
In this film, though, the women have the last laugh and seek revenge on guys who portray women as sex objects. If you fuck with or degrade any
of these seven ladies, including Jennifer (Deborah Twiss), Becky (Rene Alberta), Grace (Tracy Dillon), Jesse (Freida Hoops), Priscilla (Veronica Cruz),
Trish (Sheila Schmidt), and Annie (Beth Dodye Bass), they will simply ram a pool cue up your ass, castrate you, blow your balls off, cut your throat
or, if your lucky, put a bullet in your head. These scenes are fucking graphic as hell and as a guy watching this film you will either grab your nuts,
squeeze your cheeks or yell out, "You sick fucking dykes, leave the poor fucker alone!" Another disturbing scene in this film is when the lesbian
punk band called "Tribe 8" performs. The lead singer gets some guy in the crowd to suck her life like 8 inch dildo, after which she "castrates"
herself with a sharp knife on stage.
Directed by Todd Morris, A Gun For Jennifer is currently not officially on DVD, but your local video shop might have a copy lying around on the
shelves or try eBay where their are usually bootlegs flying around. This should hold you over until an official DVD release comes out, so if you dig
male revenge exploitation films I highly recommend you rent this out on for the weekend.

The action in this low-budget exploitation outing is presented with a decidedly feminist twist. Though violence abounds, it is largely devoid of exploitational sex. Allison came to New York City from Ohio to escape an abusive husband and ends up entangled with murderous female vigilantes who routinely castrate suspected rapists and batterers. Allison's dilemma begins when she is attacked on a city bus. Before she is harmed, five masked women pounce upon the attacker, deftly emasculate him and then kill him. Allison tries to flee, but the women surround her and demand that she join them to prevent her from going to the police. They ask her name; thinking quickly, she takes the name "Jennifer" from a nearby storefront. Jesse is the psychotic leader of the group and takes them on an increasingly crazed city-wide spree that results in the deaths of numerous well-to-do misogynists. As they slash their way across the city, the vengeful femmes are pursued by Billie Perez, a female cop determined to stop them. Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
