The Beast in Space begins with Captain Larry Madison (Vassili Karis) entering a bar to have a few drinks and hoping to enjoy the company of a
nice looking woman for the evening. As he scouts the room, he notices a beautiful woman sitting by herself on the couch: they make eye contact,
but he decides to play it smooth by walking straight to the bar and begins to order himself a bottle of Uranus milk. When returning from the bar he
notices a drunken Merchant slob has cock blocked him, so being a uniform officer the Captain decides to teach him a lesson and gives him the old
one, two and three on the chin which lays the man out stone cold. As he moves in for the kill, Larry begins to introduce himself to Sondra (Sirpa
Lane) while kicking back and enjoying a few quiet drinks right before she invites herself back to his pad so she can teach a move or two. After a
few hours later of love making, Sondra falls asleep in Larry’s arms and soon awakens screaming in fear, which awakens Larry, Sondra begins to tell
Larry about her bizarre recurring dream where she is running though a forest on a strange planet, towards an abandoned castle, and soon finds
herself being forced to have sex with a man she doesn’t know.

The following day Captain Larry is set off on another top secret mission with a specially hand picked group to search for a rare mineral called
Antalium and collect as much as he can bring back home so the military can begin to make new range of neutron weapons. When a boarding the
spaceship, he is soon introduce to his fellow crew members, and surprisingly his route officer is Sondra. As they Captain and his crew all prepare to
set off to the unknown planet Lorigon, they are soon intercepted by a group of hostel spaceships whom are also on the same mission to get to the
planet before they do. Captain Madison has his orders to seek and destroy any other spaceships that are set on the same course. But
unfortunately his ship was outnumbered and has taken on some serious damage, Captain Madison is no longer able to contact home base,
meanwhile the planets gravity force begins to pull them down. Luckily they arrive safely on the planets surface, the crew begins to explore for the
rare mineral. It’s not long until they soon realize the planet isn’t inhabited as they enter a building which locks them in. Captain Madison and his
crew start to explore the buildings structure, going from  room to room. When the group enters a room they’ll soon begin to experience weird dizzy
spells while trying to keep their eyes to focus properly before seeing a bright flash of light which  makes them all pass out.

Captain Madison awakes in a luscious room filled with fine foods and tasteful wines, while he finds all his crew are dressed in white erotic see
through robes. It’s not long after that Captain Madison is soon introduced to the ruler of the planet Onaph (Claudio Undari) whose only purpose is
to take control of the crew’s minds by hypnotizing them all, and one by one seduce the women. Sondra soon begins to realize her worst nightmare
is just about to come true, when Onaph shows his true self and unleashes the beast within.

I wasn’t too sure what the hell this film was about when I first come across this DVD. Since knowing it came from Severin Films, I straight away
knew that it would be a title not many people will know of or have ever seen before. In the late 70s, filmmakers from all over globe started to go
into a filmmaking frenzy after George Lucas made a killing in the box office when releasing
Star Wars. The likes of Italian director/writer Alfonso
Brescia decide to create his own little sci-fi masterpiece called
The Beast in Space, but only to step it up a few extreme notches by making it into a
X rated film. The 50s bought us grease hair motorbike riding punks, the 60s was pretty fucking boring it was basically the beginning of the hippie
era, then the 70s came a whole new experience of cinema on high demand, which was porn, horror and sci-fi.
The Beast Iin Space is a basically a
bit of several old shows I grew up loving, you have the erotic styles of
Flesh Gordon (1974) which crosses over into Star Wars (1979) type of
film and then with a splash of a popular TV show from the 60s
Lost in Space (1965). If you ask me the 70s and 80s was the era for all types of
media.

The cast members listed in this movie are pretty much unknown to the average western movie goer, but for those who know a few Italian movies
such as
Papaya: Love Goddess of the Cannibals (1978) and Nazi Love Camp 27 (1977) and The Beast (1975) then without a doubt you
know this beautiful Italian blonde-shell actress Sirpa Lane. Miss Lane’s movie career didn’t do so well after
The Beast in Space, in fact I guess you
can kind of say after appearing in this film, it was very hard for Miss Lane to get any serious roles by any director. But that’s not to say
The Beastin
Space
is a total flop, because this movie does have its highs and lows, even to this day and age. Sadly in 1999, this gorgeous actress died of a
fatal disease called AIDS.

The special effects throughout this movie are fairly cheesy even to today’s standards. With home model rockets for spaceships you would by from
any retail toy store and handguns with built in torches. Its your typical early 70s sci-fi special effects, but nothing to really get too excited about.

I have to give both thumbs up for Severin Films for releasing such a lost and forgotten sci-fi opera classic back onto DVD. Even though this is
classed as an unrated DVD, there is another mighty DVD release (X Rated version) also released by the gods of smut Severin Films, this time I
imagine they were able to include all those wonderful close up pink bits shots, which this unrated version seams to missing out on. The X rated
version happens to have an extra 11 minutes of raw footage. The Unrated version I have to say is just about borderline from becoming a hardcore
porn, but still a fine film to kick back with a few friends and vege out on.

If you are looking for an erotic sci-fi movie that contains a large robot wanting to seduce women, a women being raped by a half man an half fawn,
a bestiality masturbation scene, lots of sex orgies, twat shots, 100% all natural breast shots or full nudity scenes, well then this is the film you
want to check out.

The Complete Unrated Director's Cut For The First Time Ever In America!

In 1975, European sex symbol Sirpa Lane shocked the world with her performance as a maiden defiled
by a ferociously aroused animal in the erotic classic
THE BEAST. Five years later, the
beautiful-but-doomed actress would plummet from arthouse to grindhouse in this insanely unofficial
outer space 'sequel' packed with rampant sex, cheezy effects, barnyard passions and yet another
graphic ravaging by a hugely-endowed man-beast. Marina Hedman (
SATAN'S BABY DOLL) and
Venantino Venantini (
BLACK EMANUELLE) co-star in this jaw-dropping intergalactic epic that combines
the immortal '80s Italian genres of sleazy sci-fi and depraved sexual saga, now fully restored from the
original film lab negative purchased at a Rome bankruptcy auction.
