Zane (Terence Jay) and his cousin Rene (Leah Rachel) head out to the middle of the desert to their families old house with a few friends from
college for a weekend to kick back and drink a few beers, drop some ecstasy and  play a few tricks on two young sorority girls. Though old Uncle
Lester (Tobin Bell) a old grumpy caretaker (who doesn't mind giving the college brats a good scare every now and then,) isn't really too fond of
them lurking around the house - especially the cellar of the house. Lester believes there is hidden treasure buried deep in the cellars floor, and he
is not going to stop until he finds it. But unaware that Zane and Rene's great grandfather’s first wife, who was a native American Indian was
buried alive in the floor of the cellar by their grandfather, and then shortly after remarried  Zane's and Rene's great grandmother. Before closing
the lid to her coffin he took her priceless family pendant (which allows the soul of who wears it to cross over to the other side) around her neck,
which he gave to his new wife. Over the decades the pendant has been handed down from generation to generation, ever since her great
grandmother was brutally murdered one night when having a bath. But now things have taken a change, finally the first wife’s soul is set free
(thanks to Lester digging around) and she wants what is rightfully hers back, and to make those pay who ever gets in her way.

What are my actual thoughts on Robert Kurtzman's
Buried Alive?

I think the title of the film speaks for itself, this film needs to be
Buried Alive also. For some reason I couldn't find myself getting right into this film,
yeah the trailer got my attention, and I purchased the film to only now feel like a fool for buying it. The old native American dead women wasn't
even scary looking, to tell you the truth it look like a mask you would buy at a costume shop just before Halloween. She walks around with an axe,
and with one blow she manages to split this nerdy kid into two pieces, kind of like a hot knife in a stick of butter the scene looked like to me. Yeah
it looked cool for a split second there, but its not like we haven't seen that shit before. To me this film felt like it was another one of those films,
that they advertised the shit out of right before Halloween to cash in on. Well hardy fucking ha ha, yeah you fucked me over $20 you sons of
bitches, and now its my turn.

The gore factor contains the following, Nerdy guy gets slices into two and then placed in the car, Jock guy gets his face cut off, Lester get a axe in
the back, dumb sorority girl gets throat slit and thrown down the steps, Zane and Rene both gets thrown into the coffin and buried alive, while the
other sorority girl gets away cause she had a protection tattoo on the back of her neck.

THE END

That's the whole movie in a nutshell guys, nothing more nothing less....

Now if you going to  buy this film that's all you are going to get. You will see more gore and a better storyline watching your constipated dog take a
fucking shit in the backyard, this film is a waste of money and  time and that's all I am going to say. You want to buy it, go ahead you might as well
just hand it over to me so I can go get some dirty crack-head whore to give me a blowjob, cause that's a better cause than purchasing this DVD.
