Really, what can you say about a film that is 3 hours solid of full frontal nudity, other than Hell Yeah? It also helps case in point when this collection
boasts some of the biggest natural tits known to mankind! Seriously some of the chicks are so stacked they will never have to worry about falling
flat on their face.
The good folks at After Hours Retro cinema have delivered another fascinating installment of their 8mm Madness collection, this being Vol. 4. Once
again hosted by 42nd St Pete, this man knows his stuff and is full of information on the stars themselves, the origins of Stag Films and even goes
as far as to drag out some old magazine adds from the 50's & 60's to show how these films were advertised.
So… what is a Stag Film?
Well, basically a Stag film is just a quick (couple of minutes) film snippet of some chick dancing around, stripping and walking around the house
naked and they feature lots of lingering boob shots.... which nearly all of the films in this collection do! However when one takes into context the
times in which these films were made, this is racy stuff indeed! Nudie shorts have been around the 1920's, but when the 8mm video camera
became available to households in the mid 50's, a lot of back yard amateur's cottoned onto the idea that there was a buck to be made making
these Nudie Shorts, which usually ran a couple of minutes, and were sold in a plain cardboard box at the local camera shop or adult bookstore for
a then staggering price of anything between $20 to $100!
OK all well and good but is this collection worth your time? Well it depends on what the viewer is wanting to get out of it. If your aim is to just sit
there and have a wank, I can recommend a lot more interesting titles than this to rub one out to. However… for the history curious sleaze buff, this
is an excellent time capsule of a long gone era of celluloid filth. At the turn of the of the 70's, smut was forever changed with the onset of Hardcore
Porn. Even though the first 10 years of Hardcore were good it has really gone downhill since the "glory days".
The ladies featured in these loops were fairly big names in the 50's & 60's and had a somewhat cult following, (although the only name familiar to
me is Uschi Digard, of Russ Meyer fame) and are completely natural women, no pump up tits or botox or any of that crap, just pure natural
voluptuous babes with big tits, even bigger hair and some of the hairiest pussies you will ever see!
Print quality on these shorts are pretty bad, which while is to be expected also gives it a special aged feel. After Hours Cinema have done good in
salvaging these films and putting them on DVD before the negatives become completely destroyed by age, and is worth a spin to check out how
real women looked back in the day, as well as what life was like before Hardcore came along, although it is easy to see why these films were
eradicated once Hardcore did rear its head, as I know which one I would have chosen back then too......
