Masters Of Horror Lamberto Bava & Dario Argento team up together to bring us this awesome creature feature film called Demons.
Demons is about a girl named Cheryl (Natasha Hovey) who is traveling on a public train to meet up with her friend Kathy (Paola Cozzo) so they can
go to study at a night class. But in the subway a creepy looking punk guy with a chrome mask carrying a bag starts to follow her, she freaks out
and heads running to trying to find a way out of the subway. She then stops and turns around to see if he is still following her and then she finds
out all he wanted to do is give her a free movie pass to a featurette film playing at the Metropol Theater later that night. She then asks the guy
can she has another free pass for her friend that she is about to meet up with, so he hands her another one, Cheryl soon meets up with her friend
Kathy. Cheryl talks Kathy into skipping class to watch the movie thats playing at the theater. As soon as they get their Kathy decides to get a coke
from the drink machine, as like all drink machines it chew'd up her money and some Harvard looking guy named George (Urbano Barberini) and his
mate Ken (Karl Zinny) that was checking out the movie props within the lobby, they both walk over to assist the girls and help them get their coke
from the machine and to introduce themselves.
Slowly the lobby is starting to fill up with people, everyone is around checking out the props on display, a pimp and his two hooker friends are
standing near a prop which is a chrome demon mask on a motorbike handle one of the hookers grabs the mask and puts it on her face to scare
her pimp and girlfriend, when taking it off the mask it scratches her, then she starts to bleed a little. The pimp tells her thats what ya get when you
fuck around with things. Slowly the movie is about to begin and all the people go into the theater to find a seat to watch the film. When the movie
starts and then straight away Kathy realizes the movie she is watching is going to be a horror movie just by the sound of the music. She kinda
gets a little edgy and scared cause she hates horror movies, so Ken decides to sit beside her to hold her hand, just incase if she gets scared.
Now this is where the movie gets really interesting and the gore starts!.
The hooker who scratched herself with the mask heads to the toilet cause her scratch starts to bleed again, her friend just caught on whats
happening in the movie, just actually happened to her friend so she starts to get a little worried. Her pimp tells her thats a load of bullshit and just
watch the film. While they keep watching the movie the hooker in the bathroom tries to stop the bleeding, but blood just begins to pours out of
wound and then she starts to freak out, it starts to swell up and then explodes, pus, blood begins pouring out of the abscess looking sore and
then she freaks right out begins screaming and crying. Her friend is wondering why she is taking so long so she tells her pimp that she is going to
check on her to see if she alright. So she heads of to the bathroom and when she gets there she notices there is blood all over the sink, and floor.
She finds her friend facing the wall and asks if every think is OK.
Straight away you know whats going to happen here.
She slowly turns around and has transformed into a blood thirsty demon. The demon hooker scratches the shit out of her friends throat, but
doesn't kill her. She manages to get away and heads though the curtains trying to find her way back to her pimp for help, but gets lost along the
way and end up behind the big theater screen. The crowd in the theater not knowing whats going on still enjoying the film on the big screen, they
start to hear someone screaming within the theater. Sooner or later the injured hooker falls though the big screen tearing a hole in the movie
screen. Everyone jumps out of there seats and rushing to help her, her pimp gets up on the stage and see if she is alright.
Slowly here you get to see the hooker transforming into a demon. Her hands change and her nails fall off and the claws grow, and then her teeth
fall out of her mouth and are replaced by fangs and her eyes turn to a glowing yellow with her veins though out her face come to the surface.
Awesome fucking special effects i tell ya that.
This fucking freaks everyone out in the theater, everyone runs to the exit doors to get the fuck out of there but someone has bricked them all
inside to die. So there is no way out, so people start to panic and there running around though the theater trying to find a way out or a place to
hide from the demons. For some reason when a demon scratches them or bites them within a few minutes they transforms into a blood thirsty
demon. Slowly they all start to die, one by one turning into flesh eating blood thirty demons, will anyone make it out alive! I ain't going to say, you
have to watch it for yourself.
So whats the gore factor like, there is some really awesome special effects in this little beauty. Shit loads of gory kills such as throats being ripped
out, eye balls are clawed out by demons, also they are chewing the shit out of peoples arms, legs, throats and so much more i wanna say so much
more but don't wanna give away too much for you. Their is a lot of blood, pus, guts all throughout the movie right to the very end of the movie. I
highly recommend any gorefans to check out Demons, if you haven't already. This is one film you need to have in your collection, Demons is truly a
gorefest masterpiece.
