To activate the hidden easter egg just go to the Audio Options menu and highlight the soldiers face which will show the hidden egg. The egg contains 6 mins of footage of cast member Zane Crosby eating a whole Bambino’s pizza on the couch, slice after slice while drinking a large coke. Nothing really fantastic about it, just annoying that I sat right though the whole 6mins watching him chew on a fucking pizza.

Benny Rodriguez (Josh Lively) happens to have a mad crush on Stephanie (Sarah Bauer), a beautiful fiery redhead babe. Benny and his BFF (Best
Friends Forever) Scotty Smalls (Zane Crosby) team together and are on a mission in hopes to win over Stephanie and make her fall deeply in love
with Benny. The two masterminds decide to throw a private party, with kegs, music and five of the worlds best pizza pies from Bambino’s pizza,
there is nothing can that could possibly go wrong. Unfortunately that following night a nearby local pharmaceutical company happens to have an
outbreak and a number of test subjects manage to break loose from the facility into the public. It doesn’t take long for the virus to begin
spreading from host to host, which causes the dead to return back to life and feed on human flesh. Smalls is the first to witness this gory
pandemic, while retrieving the pizzas at the back gate from Stephanie’s cheating, jealous boyfriend. Benny and Smalls have no need to worry
about un-expecting gate crashers, the two are now on a new mission to save the party from becoming a smorgasbord for the un-dead.
Die and Let Live is Independent filmmaker Justin Channell’s third creation, which is chock-o-block with blood, guts and gut wrenching laughs. I
wasn’t too sure what I was into when I first received this film in the mail, honestly looking at the goofball looks on the actors faces on the front
cover I thought to myself I was in for another college student film. Man was I wrong, never judge a movie by its cover Die and Let Live is basically
a low-budget, gate-crashing zombie comedy with a splash of teenage love affair for the women. Throughout the film I found myself laughing,
giggling and chuckling to the script while being overwhelmed by low-budget flesh chewing scenes that would give any gorehound that grin of
approval. I haven’t had a chance to see Channell’s previous films Raising the Stakes (2005) and Faces of Schlock Vol.2 (2005) but it has kind
of got me interested to see how far this young upcoming filmmaker has come in the movie industry. Since he directed, wrote and produced the film
with the help of cast members/friends Josh Lively and Zane Crosby of course.
Being a low-budget film you kind of think that the cast would come across as cheesy and boring, but this is not the case with Die and Let Live. For
a bunch of unknown cast members, everyone gave blood, sweat, screams and laughs to help Channell put together a film that is definitely not a
waste of a 75minutes of your life. Actors who stole the spotlight would have to of been Josh Lively (Benny) with his 101 face expressions, Zane
Crosby (Smalls) cheeky, twitty sense of humour and not to forget Zack Boyce (Todd Hamilton) an outrageous party animal on-screen and jokester
off-screen. But if these guys don’t tickle your ass hairs with their hilarious performance, well prepare yourselves for a cameo from non other Troma’
s Godfather of Independent Cinema, Lloyd Kaufman being cast as News Reporter named Floyd Faukman.
The gore factor is highly entertaining on a low-budget level. You’ll see plenty of flesh chewing, tearing scenes from throats, necks, shoulders and
arms that offer a huge amount of blood. Another scene that I was happy to see was a guy having his rib cage torn out from his chest, along with it
his lungs and intestines. Being a gorehound, actor/special effects artist Zane Cosby gave me my gore fix that’s for damn sure. Just don’t expect
Tom Savini special effects and you’ll do alright.
Heretic Films made sure to jammed packed the extra department for the top with a Director Commentary, Behind the Scenes featurette, Deleted
Scenes, Outtakes and a good handful of Heretic Trailers that will keep you impressed and satisfied for up to a hour after watching this awesome
film.
If you want to watch a horror comedy zombie film which has the humour of Jay and Silent Bob meets Night of the Living Dead well then this is
the movie you have been waiting for. Though if you are a hardcore zombie fan, I can’t really recommend you buy this straight away, so you might
want to play it safe and rent it first. Other than that, I can’t recommend this film enough to those who enjoy watching low-budget films- you guys
will cherish this film far more than an average horror fan.

Hopeless romantic Benny throws a party with the help of his friend Smalls.
The goal: to help woo his crush Stephanie, who is fresh out of a bad relationship with the town sexual conquistador, Andrew.
But their party is soon crashed when Andrew shows up, only to be killed by a bloodthirsty group of zombies created by a virus being developed at a nearby medical testing facility. When Andrew returns to life, Benny and Smalls find themselves fighting for their lives, trying to escape, while trying to make sense of teenage social life!
