The story is about a group of mad scientists who genetic engineers a creature that is half man, and half fish which was going to be used to fight
the war against terrorism, but one day things change for the worst. The amphibian man "The Creature" escapes the scientists lab and by foot &
and runs towards the Blood Cove beach just near the lab. Dr. Monroe Lazaroff (Larry Butler) unable to stop the creature in time and then starts to
think of a way to stop the creature before things get much worse than they already are. So he comes up with a idea, he decides to find the grave
of Frankenstein in Shellvainia where they are warned by a crazy gypsy woman standing beside Frankensteins grave. This is where soon after they
are attacked by a werewolf "Wolf man" that is there to protect Frankensteins grave by unwanted visitors. They then take the corpse of
Frankenstein back to Lazaroff's lab and start to try and reanimate his body with the same formula that Frankensteins creator used.
Now down on the beach Bill Grant (William Winckler) a professional photographer is taking some snap shots on Blood Cove beach of a beautiful
model who is poising nude for a mens magazine. All of a sudden she sees a hideous ugly creature hiding behind the rocks and begins to scream
and run like hell back to the car. Grant believes its some guy in a rubber costume so he starts giving the guy shit, then he realizes its not a rubber
suit due to the teeth & drooling from the creature and quickly takes a few snapshots before running up the beach with the crew. When he gets
back to the office his boss reves the shit out of him telling Grant there is no such thing as monsters & to get another model & get back down to
Blood Cove & get the job done cause they have a deadline. So he is done what he is told & yes of course they see the creature again but this time
it attacks the model and kills her by eating her alive. Grant and his 2 assistants Dezzirae Lee (Dezzi Rae Ascalon) & Perry Featherstone (Gary
Canavello) runs back up the beach & to there cars in fear of the creature eating them alive also, but the creature is already at the cars. They look
around and see a house near by and head straight towards the house in hope for help. But unaware that the house there running too is Dr
Lazaroff's Lab where he has just reanimated Frankenstein. As soon as they step one foot inside the building they are held prisoners by the doctor.
Now they are trapped with a flesh eating creature outside the house & a walking dead zombie inside the house and a bunch of mad scientists....
Director William Winckler focused this film to the Universal Pictures old black and white films from the late 1940's to 1950's which included the scary
Frankenstein and The Creature From The Black Lagoon. To tell you the truth i ain't a big fan of those films done back then, they just bore the shit
out of me. But William Wincklers Frankenstein VS The Creature from Blood Cove isn't anything like those old films, its more a modern day
creature film and more entertaining to watch by far. Though i did wish there was massive amounts of gore though out the movie, but unfortunately
there wasn't much at all. But then again William Wincklers Frankenstein VS The Creature from Blood Cove is more of a homage to the old
monster films so the older and younger generation can both enjoy. William Winckler has even added a few well known faces in his film. We get to
see some awesome cameos by Lloyd Kaufman (Bar Drunk) and Ron Jeremy (Bar Man) which surprised the shit out of me cause i didn't expect to
see them in the film. And seeing the beautiful Australian adult porn actress Selena Silver was a trip down memory lane, and still she is looking fine
as hell.
I do recommend this movie to those who loved the old Universal Pictures horror films and to just go straight out and buy this on DVD, trust me you
will enjoy every second of it. But if you are looking for a gore fest creature feature film well sorry guys this isn't what you want to watch. Its for
more the old school horror fans.
