Frigid Fantasies is basically about a troubled married couple (Alfredo Calles, Andrea Guzon) who are having difficulties with their sex life. The
husband decides to try and spice it up by adding a bit of role playing into their sex life by pretending to be a masked rapist, sneaking into her room
and raping her while she is asleep in bed. Unfortunately it doesn’t get her juices flowing, and does not satisfy her sexual fantasy needs but only
his. A few days later she decides to go for a walk through the park, and in the corner of her eye she catches him pashing another woman in his car
at a set of traffic lights a waiting for them to change. While near by a photographer (who likes taking pictures without any film in the camera, and is
looking for a place to stay) catches her stressful look while pretending to take her picture- she begins to ask her questions and gives friendly
advice about her cheating husband. Unaware that she knows a lot more about what goes on in her marriage more than she does, soon after she
opens her home up to her so she can have someone to talk to during the day and late evenings while her husband is away. It’s not soon after her
lesbian tendencies begin to unfold, and she starts to experiment with her new room mate while her husband is away on long business trips. She is
unaware that actually the photographer (Sara Mora) is his mistress, and planned everything down to her meeting in the park, moving into there
home so they can secretly begin having a three way with his wife who begins to be turned on sharing her husband with another women while she
watches, and being dominated by them both by being tied up, whipped and sexually pleasured by them both at the same time.
Frigid Fantasies is one of those sleazy, erotic, doesn’t make too much sense sexploitation films that was made in the early 80’s by a Spanish
director named Carlos Aured. The films dialogue is pretty far fetched when it comes to a husband and mistress moving in and begin treating the
wife like a sex toy, while chained and treated like a dog. It would take one brave man to be able to do this, and keep both of his jewels intact. But
I guess it’s probably one of those all time fantasies where a guy can have two beautiful sex crazed women at the same time, while holding down a
good paying job.
This film does have a fair good amount of erotic sex teasing scenes, and full body nudity throughout the whole entire film. Sadly I have to warn
you, their is no hardcore material shown in the film at all, which if there was, it definitely would of brightened up the film a hell of a lot, including my
eyes. But on the plus side you do two beautiful women caressing each others breasts, while dressed in some really nice looking sexy lingerie.
The acting wasn’t at all interesting, and rather boring. But who gives a shit when you got a hot blonde and brunette finger banging each other on
screen. As long as there are a good amount of tits and ass scenes, it’s all good in my book.
Frigid Fantasies was donated to us by Super Happy Fun.com which mainly sells hard to find films that are lying around in the public domain area.
Other words all of their films haven’t at all been released on DVD, so if you are a hardcore film collector and want to preserve your VHS films, this is
a good way to go about keeping your films in top notch condition, well until the title becomes released officially on DVD. The DVD I reviewed was a
screener and I can’t really comment on the custom made DVD cover or DVD artwork.
As for picture and sound quality, it wasn’t too bad; of course the film would have been transferred from VHS to DVD by a good source, though
being a Spanish film this version is dubbed in English and does contain Greek subtitles. But overall there was no problem with the quality of Frigid
Fantasies, I would rate it 8 out of 10 for quality.
Frigid Fantasies doesn’t come highly recommend by us at DVD Resurrections, but if you are chasing a sleazy, tame BSM sexploitation film to vege
out on four a hour and a half, then yeah, give this film a whirl. But other than that, I reckon save your hard working cash and purchase something
a bit more sinister and rough.
