"Everyone has their demons.."
The Visitation
DVD/APPROX. 103MINS/2006/USA PG13+
Travis Jordan (Martin Donovan) was once a Christian Minster and use to praised the Lord Jesus Christ, until one day his wife was brutally murdered
and the killer was never caught, from then on in Travis lost his faith in the Lord, and left his church and fellow members. 13 years later, strange
bizarre events start to occur in his home town, people start seeing the face of Jesus Christ in the clouds and walls, some even hear voices telling
them "He's Coming" from 3 guys dressed in black coats, and those who suffer from illnesses, or are disabled, are all of a sudden cured of there
pain and suffering, by just a simple hand shake of a local man named Brandon Nichols (Edward Furlong), which the towns people end up believing
Brandon is the next coming of Christ, he begins to hold gatherings in a barn, one by one they follow him like sheep. But Travis Morgan (Kelly Lynch)
the new towns veterinarian, and the preacher Kyle Sherman (Randy Travis) don't believe for one minute that Brandon is the next messiah and is
set out to find what exactly the truth behind all this. Is he the son of God? Or is he the son of the Devil?

The Visitation is one of those movies you didn't know what was going to happen or what you can expect, i honestly thought i was watching a
alien abduction movie for a while, then all of a sudden you get hit with the bible bashing quotes and sayings. Edward Furlong i gotta hand it to the
guy, he played a awesome roll in this film, also he had a cool calm but then also a eerie freaky presents about himself, it was hard to know if he
was a the next coming of Christ or the son of the Devil.  And not to mention Kelly Lynch, Martin Donovan, Pricilla Barnes, Richard Tyson, and Randy
Travis all done a fantastic job within this film, director Robby Henson could not of picked a better cast to play in this movie thats for sure.

Now i don't believe in Christ, God, Buddha and all that other mumbo jumbo religion shit, and usually when movies like this have strong religion
propaganda throughout it, i just turn the fucker off. But not this film, it had me scratching my head and wondering just maybe there is another side
to things, then i crack open another Jack Daniels and washed my sins away (laughs) PRAISE JACK DANIELS. Being a Atheist i have to say i truly
enjoyed this film, it was fresh, new, something i never actually seen before and totally enjoyed. So i gotta hand it to writers Brian Godawa and the
Frank Peretti (novel) for writing a strong. intersting and suspense script.

And i would definitely recommend you check this film out at one point of time, if you see it on the shelves at the video store, add it to your
weekend pile.
